Since today is the official screening of Shrek 3 in the local cinemas, here’s a post dedicated to it (before I go watch it that is…hehehehe) Introduction of some of the characters in the cartoon to whet the appettite first. Left is one of the 5 Dronkeys, the offspring of Donkey and Dragon. *Chuckle*
Next, we have all the Fairy Tale Princesses who gang up with Princess Fiona. From left is Cinderella, Snow White, Princess Fiona, Rapunzel & Sleeping Beauty. New character includes King Arthur, Fiona’s cousin and Merlin who is Arthur’s teacher.

Okie dokey. So, I finally went to watch Shrek 3 last sat with FC, AT and mum. Luckily, managed to book the tix earlier otherwise no chance to watch the movie what with the ongoing school hols break. Well, frankly, Shrek 3 is somewhat disappointing due to the poor storyline compared to Shrek 2. At times, it tries poking jibes at some fairy tale creatures just to generate laughter. I laughed the hardest at the part where King Harold (the froggy) was dying or attempted to die and parts where Prince Charming was doing his theater stuff. *Guffaw* Oh, and Pinnochio and gang (Big Bad Wolf, gingerbread man and the 3 little pigs) having tea when Prince Charming rushed in to kidnap Fiona and the other princesses. Cinderella the singing belle made me hoot with laughter when she suddenly turned into some maniac rock chick! Muahahahaa
There wasn’t much character development for Arthur who came across as some wimpy fella forced to take up the throne, a really pale reflection of the warrior played by Clive Owen in King Arthur. And the great magician, Merlin was made into a joke of a bumbling wizard/Arthur’s retired teacher who miscasts spells. For me, Shrek 2 is still the best lar!

i never watched shrek 1 & 2 … heard loads of friends said shrek is a worth movie to watch. so decided to watch shrek 3 over POTC last night. gosh !!!!!!!!!! it’s so funny and so the very best-est. i love.. i love.. i love…
all them characters are cool and the lines are funny… aahhh the dronkeys are so cute… now, i’m digging for shrek 1 & 2. ahah ! tonight tv3 is showing shrek 1. yayy !!!!

MUahahahaa…Farnee leh? It’s an adult cartoon and it spoofs and pokes fun at a lot of the fairy tales (Grimms) that we grew up with that’s why we can identify with the jokes!!! Shrek is like one of my fave cartoon and I love the animation….really C-O-O-L!!! Shud watch Shrek 1 and 2 first then oni got continuation leh…..kekekekeke…anyways, can always watch it again just to catch the little details….and wait for the end credits…
