Be Cool

making facesI’m seriously ’sian’. The stoopid haze is back. The extremely hot weather these few days is making me go bonkers cos the minute I stepped inside the house, it feels like being trapped inside an oven! I took umpteen baths in a day but still work up a sweat the minute I stop showering. Unfortunately, I’m not one of the lucky sods who is surrounded in air-cond room the entire day, from the moment they wake up to the time they goto bed. Gees, I think everybody is so ‘pampered’ by air-conditioning nowadays that they can possibly melt or die if the air-cond breaks down or there’s power failure. Wake up in air-cond room, go to work in air-cond car, then work inside air-cond office, go back and sleep in air-cond room again. Anybody suffering from dehydrated skin yet? Hmmm……

sianI reckon our weather has gone really ‘haywired’ due to the global warming and natural disasters which had ‘moved’ our country’s coordinates. I wonder when we will actually move enough to experience a 4 seasonal weather here. *Chuckle* Wow, that’ll definitely be fantastic. I’m one of those who can’t really stand the extreme weathers of too cold or too hot. For me, the best weather will be spring the entire year. Enough of sunshine coupled with cool breeze blowing. Rainy days of Autumn are a tad depressing tho’ the myriad colours of leaves is a sight to behold, not to mention, loads to sweep when they fall!

troubleBack to the dumb haze. I wonder why it’s become an annual problem to us. I mean like 10 years ago, we didn’t seem to have any haze problems…..well, not any that I can remember of. Why now? What did they do or not do previously that they can adopt now to resolve the problem? If everybody knows the crux of the problem, why still let it perpetuate? Well, I guess the same goes for our flood issue. The same old vicious cycle continue year after year and many were ecstatic when the SMART tunnel proclaimed to be able to solve these flood woes. Unfortunately, at the recent flood, the SMART tunnel was deemed not ready to divert the water overflows wor…..hmmm….? And we actually spend like billions? Oh well, the next time it rains, I’ll prob be smart enough not to use the SMART tunnel for fear of being trapped inside the ‘gargantuan monsoon drain’…. :P

smoking babyOn a separate note, I’ve gone back to BC due to inflammation of thighs from too much RPM. Perhaps my limbs are just not accustomed to being ‘lopsided’ exercised. Or perhaps the legs are just jealous that the arms are just having it easy while they are put to the grind. Anyhow, whatever it is….I’ve decided to balance it out by going back to BC. So, last Fri I went for BP before hopping to Hooligan’s BC class in TC. She was flanked by 2 assistants, Cyborg, who is her usual DJ and a guest instructor who attended the class, Cheng, who became her ‘dummy opponent’ or ‘target practice’. *Guffaw* Sometimes, theatrics makes the class interesting.

funkyIt’s been awhile since I last went for Hooligan’s class and this was the first from release 32. Well, I shall not regurgitate what I wrote in my review but to sum it up, let’s just say that I got a different ‘feel’ of the release under her faultless delivery. And I reckon that’s the edge that elevates a person from ordinary to great……and the title of ‘presenter’ is not achieved without its merits…
